Born in Los Angeles, Jerry started listening and singing to music as far back as five years old. His first performance was for his family lip singing the Coasters “Charlie Brown”. With three older Sisters and one older Brother Jerry was exposed to many of the chart toppers of the 1950’s. This was the foundation for what would become his song writing style. Continuing to play drums and guitar, Jerry taught himself how to play the Piano and wrote his first song “I Love You, Really do” around 17 years old.

Influences include Elvis Presley, Beatles, Hal David and Burt Bacharach, 60’s AM radio Pop, James Taylor, Carole King and Paul Williams.

1978 - 1984 Jerry joined a cover band Essence which evolved into JARA, playing top 40 hits at locations throughout California.

After the bands breakup Jerry continued playing solo gigs adding his original songs into the mix which were well received. Continuing writing, Jerry’s debut CD was released in 2004.
